Tim Middleton

Executive
Director

Tim became CEO of ATS/CHISZ in 2015, after leading Petra High, Gateway High, and Baobab College in Zambia. Twice Chairman of CHISZ, he is also a respected speaker and writer on education, sport, and faith. A former Scotland international hockey player and St Andrews Hall of Fame inductee, he first came to Zimbabwe in 1984 as a Housemaster at Falcon College.

Cath Roper

Administrative
Manager

Cath studied Human Movement Studies and Geography at Rhodes University on an ATS bursary and joined Arundel School in 1998. Over 26 years she taught PE and Geography, became Sports Director, and directed the Golden Girls Hockey Tournament for more than a decade. Well-versed in ATS values, she provides strong support to Heads and schools, and is married with two children.

Tinashe Tonodzai

Director of Operations & Stakeholder Relations

Tinashe has over 15 years’ experience in administration, organisational development, and project management across education, non-profit, and consulting sectors. With qualifications in Business Management, Law, Governance, and Marketing, he contributes significantly to the Association’s operations. Originally from Gweru, he is married to Monica and they have four children.

Paul Davis

Director of
Training & Welfare

Paul Davis has more than 30 years’ experience in education, including 15 years at Peterhouse as a teacher, coach, and deputy head. He later served as Headmaster of Ruzawi School for 16 years until December 2023. He has also chaired the Central Division and STANCO, showing his long-standing commitment to educational leadership.
