LUSITANIA PRIMARY SCHOOL

Lusitânia belongs to the Association of Trust Schools (ATS).The Head and Board Members attend various gatherings, meetings and conferences to promote quality education within our schools.

Lusitânia currently enrolls students from ECD up to Grade 7 for pupils between the ages of 3 to 13.As a member of ATS and CHISZ, Lusitânia School shares the values and ethos of other like-minded schools.

Lusitânia has a unique identity in that it offers Portuguese as a subject from ECD to Grade 7.The Embassy of Portugal, through its Ambassador plays a direct role by not only providing a Portuguese Teacher from Portugal via the Instituto Camões, but His Excellency attends Board Meetings as an Honorary Member of the Governors.Thus, the Portuguese Language and Culture is promoted through an integrated approach that starts with the youngest pupils and culminates in the writing of the international Portuguese exams in Grade 6.
